With a refusal to wear color and a refusal to listen to you complain about it, Eddie Bolton designsfor those interested in darkwear and uniform, with a special interest in military and religioussymbolism. While growing up in New Jersey, Bolton found himself fansitaned by skate fashion,specifically how certain articles of clothing and the way they are warn could silently signififycommunity. As he aged, that interest branched out to silent community builders like lace andhanky code, but also to the idea of uniform as an oppressive structure in areas like high demandreligion and military service. What he found most interesting regarding these ideas was the ironyof uniform being used by those who said the other side wanted to control them. Due to this,Eddie has frequently used uniform to critique conservatism.
